Founded in 1974 by Giancarlo Caraglio, the company has been operating for over forty years in the field of design, construction, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, ranging from high voltage to process automation.
Caraglio mainly operates in three sectors:
Industrial: specializing in food & beverage, textiles, chemicals, glass, and rubber.
Energy: high-voltage substations, protection and control systems for power plants and transmission networks, turnkey hydroelectric plants, cogeneration, and photovoltaics.
Tertiary: office buildings, shopping centers, and supermarkets.
Initially led by Giancarlo, and later by his sons Riccardo and Paolo, they established new companies:
- IDG: distributor of electrical materials
- Nordimpianti: mechanical and technological systems
- Cieb Niova: medium and low voltage electrical panels
- AGM: packaging machines
- Bridi: hydroelectric plants
Following their clients, they gained significant international experience by opening branches in Bulgaria, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, thus forming the Caraglio Group.
Caraglio's strengths lie in its expertise, flexibility, and customer-focused approach, which enable it to position itself as a reliable partner for implementing projects across Italy and abroad.
